What exactly is mental health? We have physical health as well as mental health. The World Health Organization defines mental health as "a state of well-being in which each individual realizes his or her potential, can cope with the normal stresses of life, work productively and fruitfully, and able to contribute to the community." A variety of 'factors' can affect how we feel about our mental health and wellbeing. We all have our ups and downs, there are times when we feel great and there are times when we feel like we are drowning. This is completely normal. Mental health is about how we think, feel and interact with others, not just the absence of a mental health condition. We should do everything possible to keep our mind healthy daily.
